Brian Coffsky, a partner of the firm, is a 1983 graduate of The University of Georgia with a degree in Risk Management and Insurance. He has worked as an independent agent since 1983 and holds the professional designation of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC). Brian is a past president of the Atlanta Association of Independent Insurance Agents. He has been with Manning & Nozick since 1989. A large portion of his practice is dedicated to providing personal insurance products to high net worth individuals, real estate development and management, technology, wholesale distribution, medical, non-profit associations and retail establishments.
George has been a partner of the firm since 1990 and has been in the insurance industry for more than 40 years. He had previously been an underwriter with a major New York insurance agency before joining the firm in 1979. He served his business community as a President of the Atlanta Association of Independent Insurance Agents. He was a business major at Pace College, NYC and completed his studies at the College of Insurance in 1965.
Robert Franco, a partner of the firm, has worked in the insurance industry for more than 25 years, beginning in 1980 when he helped organize the formation of MAG Mutual Insurance Company, Georgia’s largest medical professional liability insurance company. He subsequently served as Vice President of Marketing for MAG Mutual from 1982 to 1988. He has been with Manning & Nozick since 1988. His clients include businesses involved in real estate development and management, technology, medical care delivery, retail and wholesale operations, non-profits and numerous other business sectors. Robert holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Florida and received his MBA degree from the Executive MBA program at Georgia State University in 1988.
Stanley Westerman has been with Manning & Nozick for 16 years. Born in South Africa, Stanley obtained his accounting degree and has always been employed in financial services related industries. He has a broad client base of both personal and commercial groups, including technology, real estate, restaurant, non-profits and in various other service related industries. Stanley also has assisted numerous clients with their medical, life and long term care needs.
Jonathan Grant joined Manning & Nozick as an associate in April of 2008. He has worked in the insurance industry since graduating from UGA in 2003. Jonathan’s previous work experience was mixed between specializing in auto dealerships as well as in the corporate benefits world. Jonathan has quickly found his focus to be on businesses involved in real estate development and management, technology, restaurants and numerous other business sectors. Since joining the firm and watching the trend of the current market Jonathan has developed a special program assisting clients that are taking over foreclosed properties from various banks. Jonathan graduated from the University of Georgia in 2003 with a B.A. degree in Risk Management & Insurance. He has since obtained several designations in the benefits world while continuing to focus on designations in the property & casualty market.
Jay has over 25 years of experience working in the finance and insurance business. Jay sells property and casualty insurance with an emphasis on owners of RV and manufactured home communities. As an owner of a community, he finds it easy to relate to this type of investor. He volunteers for a number of non-profit organizations and sits on the board of the Jewish National Fund. Jay is a graduate of Northeastern University with a dual major in finance and marketing.
A native of Atlanta, Michael grew up in Decatur and is a graduate of The University of Georgia. He stays active in the community and is a member of the City Club of Buckhead’s Young Executive Society, serves on the Metro Atlanta UGA Alumni Association’s Professional Development Committee, and holds the Property and Casualty Insurance seat on the Buckhead PowerCore Networking Team. Michael’s background in sales, marketing, and customer support, coupled with his experience in manufacturing and logistics, brings an insider point of view to his work with business owners. His friendly, service-focused and thorough approach reflects his commitment to putting client’s needs and best interests first.
